With Halloween almost here, have some fun with these Halloween Would You Rather Questions I have created. There is a free printable version that you can download and print out and I think they would be great to pop into treat bags or even just handed out with candies to trick-or-treaters! There is also a smaller amount of the questions here as well in case you don’t want the full printable set.
When I create Would You Rather questions, I really try to make the options different from each other so you have to make more interesting value judgements. Plus I think it leads to much more discussion with the people you are playing this game with!
Print a few copies, cut the cards, and have people read out a card for others to answer.
How to play:
- Read the would you rather question out loud and have people answer which option they would choose.
- Feel free to add more context yourself to the options if people are asking more follow-up questions.
Halloween Would You Rather Questions
- Have a black cat that can talk as a pet OR be able to turn into a bat?
- Go trick or treating alone but you get 1000 candies OR have a holiday in Transylvania?
- Own a flying broomstick OR be able to walk through walls like a ghost?

- Look slightly like a werewolf but be really good at basketball OR have all of October off work/school?
- Have Halloween be once a month OR own a costume shop?
- Be able to tell other people’s fortunes OR have a never-ending bag of candy corn?
- Have a corn maze in your backyard Or stay up till midnight watching horror movies?
- Never eat candy again OR dress as a clown for all of October?
- Be in a bath and get covered in spiders for 5 minutes OR Live in a pyramid in Egypt for a month?

How to print at actual size
1. Open the Print dialog (Ctrl + P on Windows or ⌘ + P on Mac).
2. Under Page Sizing or Scale, select “Actual Size” or set Scale to 100 %.
3. Make sure “Fit to Page” or “Shrink to Fit” is turned off and Borderless printing is disabled.
4. Confirm the printer’s paper size matches your card (A5, US Letter, 5×7, etc.).
5. Click Print.
